On Thursday the whole family went to town to shop some!

I ended up going to Yves Rocher [Surprise surprise…] and came out with a bag of goodies as usual.

Nothing out of the ordinary, mostly restocking my toiletries.

In the midst of all things happening in my life- way too much to be recounting right now, my package from Yves Rocher finally arrived today!

It’s like Christmas all over again when you can’t remember everything you’ve ordered and only know about half the things in your box. And that’s almost half the fun, in my opinion.

This time, my box weighed in at 2.0 kg, and I got it all for a bargain price. I had offers and customer coupons so it was definitely a steal for me.

I got a free bottle of the fragrance Naturellethat I’m already using. It was a surprise gift from them so I was really happy to discover a full bottle of perfume, instead of those small sample-sized ones.

They also threw in a free bottle of shower oil with a really strong smell. Definitely not something I’d order myself though….

I stocked up on the usual body showers as well as I use them after I train at the gym. This time I picked the old favourite Mexican aloe vera, and a new fragrance with pomegranate.

The eye cream I use needed to be restocked but I decided to try another one for a change. I have horribly sleeping-habits and end up waking up with puffed up eyes and dark circles.

The thing you can hardly see is a brownish creamy eyeshadow from Yves Rocher’s own brand.

I decided to try out a new mask- I already have cleansing face masks but I decided to give the moisturizing face mask a chance.

I also got another mask for exfoliation to give my skin its natural shininess….etc etc.

And since the series is about to be discontinued, I ordered another tube of hand cream from Fleur de Noël.

And finally I got another free product for being a valued customer of theirs. A radiance mask for your hair…. Though I have no clue when I will use it. Oh well, I won’t say no to free stuff.

I’ve been so bi-polar today, I almost caught myself by surprise, and that says quite a lot.

Being sleep-deprived and stressed does not help one attain a stable mentality, so I discovered.

I was really tired after a whole weekend of playing games, jumping around, disturbing people playing games, and just having fun in general. It’s a good thing we don’t have these LAN-parties too often, or I’d probably never get anything done during the weekends but play games… At least I got more sleep this time around, last geekend in November, I think I got a total of 10 hours of sleep spread over 3 days…

I left for home on Saturday night and got home at around 4 AM, insanely tired, and jumped straight into bed.

On Sunday I felt bad enough for not training since Thursday, so I dragged my lazy butt to the gym for an hour of spinning with Adrian. It proved once again that exhaustion and training do not go hand-in-hand.

Today was another gray and drab Monday. Urgh, Mondays…

It started off with my oversleeping a whole hour, rushing out the door to my busses that were being late, or too early, getting shoved against the window by some girl who had too many things to carry and reeked of nauseating perfume. Closed my eyes, counted to ten, realised this wasn’t a bad dream, plugged in my music and took out my kindle to shut the rest of the world out.
[I’m usually a rather nice person, I guess Mondays just aren’t my thing.]

But on the bright side, I made it in time for my lecture with 4 minutes to spare!

After school, I ran amuck in town looking for a particular adapter that no one seemed to even understand I was looking for, so that completely made me fall flat on my face, and that was after stomping around town for a little more than an hour.

When I got home there was an e-mail from Yves Rocher. I’d asked them about a gift I was supposed to receive from them, as I’d recruited Piggie to sign up for a membership, and wondered if our order had been misplaced. They confirmed that the order was already dealt with and paid for but that my gift was with the friend I recruited. [Why in world would you send MY gift to my FRIEND’S adress?!]

-And being in the splendid sunny-mood I was in all day, I wrote back, holding back as much anger and malice as I could because it obviously isn’t the end of the world, but seeing as it was a gift voucher and none of us knew it would end up with Piggie and it’s now gone missing……I still got increasingly mad with each word I typed out. I ended up just pointing out and criticizing the company flaws and how utterly thoughtless of them it was…. Etc. etc. [You get the gist]

After dinner, mummy and I drove to some shops for some quick browsing, and we ended up buying me a pink blanket made of the softest most comfortable and cosy material known to me. I am in love with this baby pink blanket!

It all got better in the end. I ordered my adapter from the US instead, I got to take out my agitations in an e-mail to Yves-Rocher, then I screamed about how life was unfair because I had a bad day….And then I got a blanket for it.

My day has involved so many “first world”-problems, and I know it’s a ridiculous thing, so I think I’ll shut my mental pie-hole here and now.

I haven’t been on my feet this much in a long time. Today was definitely a lot of walking, particularly- walking in boots that were a little too tight for my feet, and this I noticed already in the beginning of my walking spree. Not so fun.

I left my exam in Lund at 10 AM, my morning started at 5:40 AM when I was resolute on not oversleeping AGAIN. As a small comfort I made a quick online-order….I’ll show you later on when that arrives in my mailbox.

I came home to rest up a bit, mainly reading on about FitzChivalry Farseer in Fool’s Fate. [I can’t believe how long it’s taking me to read this 900-paged book….] I am definitely devouring the book at a much faster speed compared to before, since:
a) I’m free until Monday
b) I’m at the really exciting bit
c) It’s the very last book about Fitzchivalry Farseer…Ever…

Which is a little sad I guess… Whatever will I do without my daily dose of FitzChivalry? I did start way back at the end of 2010, it’s like he’s been with me forever…. Oh well.

 Anyway:

I met up with Andrea, my old colleague, for a brisk walk in town and a late lunch as I was going for late training later in the evening.

[An amazing Caesar Salad topped with bacon bits…yum yum yum!]

We dallied around shops I’d never even been to before, exploring parts of town that are often more quiet than anything else- and I managed to buy two kohl-liners from Peggy Sage. One waterproof and one…ordinary? They were rather cheap and I was sure that I’d heard only good of the brand before, even though it’s still pretty unknown to me. But here’s to trying out new things every once in a while!

At around 4:30 PM I said my goodbyes to Andrea and hopped towards Adrian and Vicky, who were waiting for me in town. After a few hours of moping around, Adrian and I headed to the gym for 30 minutes of warming up on machines before our 60-minute aerobics class. I know, I know, ME and AEROBICS. I’d more or less promised myself I wouldn’t ever force myself to another aerobics class ever again. Not after the disaster that was another trainer, but despite myself, I have to say that tonight’s aerobics was tonnes of fun. The class was more or less full, and I was among friends and other trainers. We had fun!

[Peggy Sage liners]

After training, I wasn’t home until 9:30 PM, and have been exhausted ever since. Today was indeed an extremely long day. I think I’ll turn to my bed soon, it’s almost midnight and I’m sure you can imagine how dreadfully tired I am at this point.

Good night.

Quick mention:

Mummy was out buying stuff and spotted the last jewelry-tree left at the jewelry store…So it was her instinct to get it for me:

These pictures really do it no justice, I couldn’t be bothered to take better pictures, but here you go anyway.

I’m off to bed now, goodnight!

I’m going to sound extra-obsessed with Yves-Rocher [I already do, I’m sure], but this was an order I had made shortly after Christmas for their online sale….

  • Three shower creams from Jardins du Monde. Indian Cotton Flower and Mexican Aloe Vera
  • Another bottle of body lotion from Fruits de Noël. The ones I got yesterday were from Fleurs de Noël….[Somehow that’s supposed to justify my buying three body lotions in two days…]
  • And a 30 ml Eau de Parfum bottle of So Elixir

I actually only paid for one shower cream and the body lotion, the other three items were given to me for free for ordering in their online shop. And I was curious about the perfume, so why not. The portable and lovely smelling shower cream I can always use in my gym bag, so it was definitely well worth my money.

Mummy and I were alone for the evening, so before coming home for dinner- we decided to take a quick shopping-trip to Yves Rocher who was having a 50% off sale.

From left-to-right:

  • From Minceur Café Vert: anti-cellulite cream. Don’t laugh. I’m super afraid of cellulite so if this can reduce it, I’m all in.
  • From Active Sensitive: Stocking up on my regular anti-puffiness eye gel.
  • A perfume by the name Naturelle, it has the ever so slightest hint of a reminder of Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue perfume, that I’m very close to finishing. [Insert sad face here.]
  • We actually got two of Fleur & Fruits de Noël’s liquid hand soap. It’s a limited collection and it really does smell amazing… I still haven’t finished my regular tube of hand cream to start with, and I have another 3 tubes from this series. [I’m starting to suspect that I have hoarder-tendencies….]
  • And also from Fleur & Fruits de Noël: not one but really, two bottles of perfumed body lotion. Need I stress my point on how good this stuff smells??

And for being the obediently returning customer that I am, I was given a calendar [seen in the background] and two ink pens, which was rather fortunate as I threw out about 50 useless ink pens today.
