Well hello there, you seem to have stumbled across my personal blog. This is where I keep tabs on my daily life for anyone bored enough to follow it. 

My name is Ashley and I’m just a regular gal trying to make a life for my future self. 

I sometimes sing and post doodles at random. Even more often than that, I’ll bake and spam the blog with pictures. 

I’m not one of those super-fascinating people that inspire others by building houses in third world countries or recruit people to save animals on the brink of extinction. I don’t make bucket-loads of money that I then spend on designer brands and show off here…………….[yet?]

I do the small-scale things like giving monthly donations to charity, making people smile and making every day count. 

I’m 20 years old and was born and raised in Sweden. Yeah, Sweden, that weird elongated country up North in Europe. I’m currently in my first year of computer science engineering at Lund Institute of Technology, 5 years to go, wohoo! [Wish me luck, this is all I’ve ever dreamed of for the past few years of my life.]

I’m a pretty tricky person, I can be very straight-forward with how I feel about things- and I definitely will tell you the truth no matter what. I’ve come to learn that there is no point in hiding it from people as it tends to bobble up somewhere along the line either way. I’m also rather self-centered, I mean hello- I have a personal blog that I update every chance I get, and it’s all about nothing but my life. I think it’s safe to deduce that I am, and always have been, an only child. 

I strive to get as far as possible in life. I want to see the world for myself, learn from not only my own but also other’s mistakes and live each day to the fullest. I want to look back at my life with no regrets, only life-lessons to share with the generations to come.
My ultimate goal would be no matter where I am or what I do, to always be happy. There is nothing as satisfying or pure as genuine happiness. It gives you a glow you cannot fake or buy- and in ways, it makes you a better and more beautiful person inside and out.

I think we should all strive to be happy. Not content. But truly happy. At least we all deserve to be happy, don’t we?

My blog originally started off for just one person to read and now I have some friendly followers reading it too.
